National Spark the World Day
August 26, 2022 is National Spark the World Day. The day was founded by Simon T. Bailey International, Inc. The first celebration of the holiday took place in 2020. The focus of the day is to honor and acknowledge. Especially, those “…men and women who inspire others and go the extra inch by sparking others to greatness.” Although, not only those in the public eye, but people in our daily life.
Behind the Day
National Spark the World day is intended to honor those that inspire. But, also as a way to shine a light on the people who spark and inspire our daily lives. In addition to National Spark the World Day; Simon T. Bailey is known as a public speaker, author and entrepreneur. On this day Simon T. Bailey gives an annual Spark Award to a chosen recipient. However, there are several ways to celebrate on your own.
How to Participate
- Reach out to those that spark you and inspire your life
- Promote National Spark Day on social media and tag those that inspire you
- Send inspirational words and messages to those you wish to inspire and encourage
- Send a thank you to those that have and continue to inspire you
- Attend an event that brings you joy and inspires you
