Choosing A Safe Location
Choose a location to safely view the Northern Lights where you can park your vehicle away from any potential traffic. Pulling over on the side of the road to view northern lights is dangerous. A side street may seem like a good alternative to busier roads but can just as dangerous.
If you are on a tour, follow rules put in place by the tour company and tour guide to avoid injuries. Read all posted warnings and follow directions given by the tour guides.
Dress Appropriately
